Street Sense Organisation, a Non-Governmental Organisation with the aim to provide education, increase awareness and to empower people to bring sanity to our roads, made some donations to the MMTD Division of the Ghana Police Service prior to the inauguration of the president on 7th January, 2020.

Mr. Sampson Oddoye, the National Coordinator of the Street Sense Organisation who presented the items (Vests) worth GHC 195.000 said this was to honour a request made by Police Service to help support their men with Vests for operations during the swearing in of the President which would again be useful for their day to day activities.

Again he noted that that the frequent road accidents in the nation is worrying, therefore the need to pay critical attention for a collaborative effort from all stakeholders to prevent or mitigate the impact on our roads. He also used the opportunity to appeal to road users to adhere to road safety regulations to save lives.

Superintendent of Police Dr. Sasu Mensah, the Director of Operations of MTTD receiving the Vest presented by the Street Sense Organisations, expressed his heartfelt appreciation towards the patriotic gesture exhibited by the leadership of the organization and pledged a long lasting collaboration between the two sides for the love of Ghana.

He noted that this gesture will go a long away to help the Police Service in the discharge of their duties
